A case relevant to the role is sent to candidates beforehand. The candidate will be asked to present their solution to the case in a 15 minute presentation in English followed by a discussion on the proposed solution. Representatives from BioArctic that will work closely with the candidate are part of the case presentation and discussion.
The case is followed by a competence-based structured interview based on the criteria for the role. The recruiting manager, the next level manager and HR are part of the interview.
If the candidate has taken a personality and/or logical capacity test, dialogue on the results is part of the session.
-
In most recruitments, we use Five Factor Personality Tests from Alva Labs as part of the process. Results are automatically shared with candidates from Alva Labs. A dialogue on the results is typically held during the competence-based interview.
For some roles, logical capacity tests from Alva labs are used in the process.
For some roles with a large number of qualified applicants, tests may be used early in the process, before the interviews.
-
The final candidate(s) will be asked to provide the recruiting team with names and contact details on approx three referees. The majority of these should be a previous manager.
-
A background check consisting of verifying the candidate's personalia, CV and educational background, exposure on social media and Internet as well as a check on financial or legal matters will take place before an offer will be sent to the final candidate.
-
When the references and the background check is finalized without remarks, an offer will be communicated to the final candidate. Once the offer is accepted, the employment contract will be signed by both parties.
