IT Operations Manager
BioArctic is looking for an IT Operations Manager to ensure that BioArctic’s IT environment runs smoothly, securely and efficiently.
You will own the operational oversight of our IT landscape and act as the primary interface towards our main IT provider, ensuring that all services, infrastructure and support are delivered as agreed and continuously improved.
A large part of the role involves close collaboration with internal IT support colleagues and IT lab specialists, ensuring that day‑to‑day operations work seamlessly across both office and laboratory environments.
The role reports to the Head of IT.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Vendor Management
Main contact towards BioArctic’s IT service provider
Ensure delivery of infrastructure, support and services according to SLAs
Drive service reviews, improvements and cost efficiency
IT Environment Ownership
Ensure a stable and secure office IT environment
Oversee lifecycle of endpoints and workplace equipment (computers, screens, peripherals, printers)
Ensure reliable network operations (switches, routers, access points, WiFi)
Project Management
Lead IT projects end‑to‑end
Example: procurement and implementation of a new CRM system
(requirements, vendor selection, demos, contracts, delivery)
Your Background
5+ years in IT operations, infrastructure or service management
Experience managing IT vendors and external providers
Strong understanding of workplace IT, networking and infrastructure
Proven experience leading IT projects and procurements
Ability to translate business needs into clear IT requirements
Meritorious
Experience from regulated environments (e.g. GxP)
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
